UTEC Survey approach Hawkeye to take a comprehensive look at their web presence in order to design and develop a site that was truly unique to the industry. During internal interviews with key stakeholders it became apparent that the previous iteration of the website did not take into account a hierarchy for the user experience and how a user could be directed through a site in a logical and orderly fashion.
Hawkeye worked with the UTEC team to develop a new architecture for the site, honing in on a hierarchy focused on the UTEC service industries, the UTEC values and culture, and lastly UTEC promotional content meant to keep users engaged in the site for longer periods of time.
The website has seen great success, increasing both unique page views and the duration of stay a user enjoys. The site was developed with fully responsive styles for ease of use across all mobile devices. Developed with a custom content management system, the UTEC team now also has the ability to address their organic SEO results in a much more efficient manner.
